CfP: Panel on Genocide, Missouri Valley History Conference, USA

The Council for Holocaust and Genocide Studies is sponsoring a panel on
genocide at the Missouri Valley History Conference. As such, paper
proposals and/or panel proposals in this area are welcomed.

The 57th Annual Missouri Valley History Conference
Embassy Suites Downtown/Old Market
Omaha, Nebraska
March 6-8, 2014

The “theme” for this year’s conference will be:
“Indigenous Peoples: Cultures, Adaptations, and Survival”

Paper and panel proposals IN ALL AREAS OF HISTORY are welcome but we
especially encourage theme-related
papers.

The MVHC accepts student proposals. (Undergraduate students please also
submit a recommendation letter from
your professor). Best graduate and undergraduate paper recipients receive
cash awards from MVHC, the Society
for Military History, and (for its members) the Phi Alpha Theta honor
society.
